April 9, 2023. I am shocked to read of Kevin´s passing in the Notre Dame Alumni magazine I received yesterday. We met when we sat next to each other in General Chemistry class during first semester freshmen year. We were in the first row right in front of our professor who wrote the book, Dr. Emil T. Hofmann. We became instant friends. Kevin was a consummate gentleman and scholar. He told me early that year that he wanted to get into med school after 3 years at ND. He did! Rest in peace my good friend.
