Lee Stork Obituary
October 10, 1946 - March 24, 2025
Lee Harvey Stork, 78 years, of Arlington, NE, passed away, Monday, March 24, 2025, at his home.
Lee was born on October 10, 1946, in Fremont, to Harvey C. Stork and Wilma A. (Panning) Stork. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1964. He served in the Army National Guard from 1966 until 1971.
Lee and Stephanie Diane Gibb were partners for 24 years. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2024.
Lee was a farmer for many years and worked with Gnuse Farming and Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington, Arlington Rural Firefighters Board, Washington County Cattlemen, Arlington Eagle Booster Club and was a Little League baseball coach and active with post prom at Arlington. Lee never missed his children's sporting events and was their number one fan.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan "Bubba" Stork, Corey (Tammy) Stork, Ed (Terri Raiche) Gibb, and David (Joanie) Gibb; daughters, Tracy (Regan) Fuller and Susan (Jay) Baker; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Dave Herrmann.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; partner, Diane Gibb; sister, Carolyn Herrman; infant sister, Donna Mae Stork; and grandson, Justin Baker.
The memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025, at Reckmeyer- Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial with military honors will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Arlington Fire and Rescue.
