Lucille C. Kampschnieder, 84, of Fremont died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
She was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Beemer to Henry and Anna (Krienert) Reiman. She lived in Beemer until 1948. Lucille married Arthur B. "Art" Kampschnieder on April 27, 1948, in Beemer. The couple lived on a farm in the Howells-Dodge area until the summer of 1980 when they moved to Fremont.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont.
Survivors include: her husband, Art of Fremont; son, Adrian (and wife, Carol) Kampschnieder of Howells; daughters, Loretta (and husband, Jean-Claude) Buffington of Henderson, Nev., Audrey Owens of Omaha and Agnes (and husband, Steve) Becker of Fort Calhoun; brother, Eugene Reiman of Benson, Minn.; sister, Geraldine (and husband, Irwin) Neiwohner of Onawa, Iowa; son-in-law, Tom Dembowski of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters, two brothers and four sisters-in-law.
The funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont with the Revs. James Keiter and Dan Kampschneider officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. and a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, or for masses or donor's choice.
