Rita M. Divis, 93, of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo, NE. She was born May 24, 1931, in David City, NE, to Anthony and Mary (DeWispelare) Lettellier.
She is survived by children: Mary (Bruce) Ellingsen, of Grapevine, TX, James (Linda) Divis, of Colon, NE, and John (Kathy) Divis, of Mead, NE; ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Divis; great-grandchild, Francis Fulks; parents, Anthony and Mary Lettellier; son-in-law, Don Phillippe.
Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 214 E. 2nd St., Wahoo, NE.
Visitation, Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., at Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo, NE, with 7:00 p.m., Rosary at the Church.
Interment at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Wahoo, NE.
Memorials to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, St. Wenceslaus School, Bishop Neumann High School or Saunders County Historical Society.

I was on the country school board with Rita back in the 90's. My kids went to school there. She was a kind and fun lady, loved her community!
