Andy Sandoval Obituary

Andy Sandoval
February 4, 1937 - December 14, 2020
Fresno, California - On Monday, December 14, 2020, Andy Gilbert Sandoval, loving father of four, passed away suddenly at Clovis Community Hospital at the age of 83.
Andy was born on February 4, 1937 in Glendale, AZ., the third of four boys, Henry, Manuel and Jim. At the age of 21, he married Carol Walls and they raised four children.
Andy worked for Red Triangle in the sale and delivery of propane in the central valley for over 30 years. He had a passion for collecting coins and Native American art, and was known for his infectious smile, friendly spirit and kind heart. Andy enjoyed his retirement more than he thought he would. His simple pleasures included feeding and watching the birds on his front lawn and eating a good meal at a local restaurant. He especially liked hearing about how his grandchildren were doing.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Pablo, his mother, Maria, and his brother Manuel. He is survived by his four children, Andrew, Lisa, Stephen and Paul, grandchildren Shelby Sandoval, Sean Gessner, and Drew Sandoval, great-grandchildren Jaxon and Hunter, his brothers, Henry and Jim, his dear friend Marilyn Gentry, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Also, a very special thank you to his caregivers, Mercedes and Cindy, and the entire staff at Right At Home in Fresno, for making him so happy.
Due to COVID-19, funeral services will not be held. If you would like to share a memory or a tribute to Andy, please visit https://www.thecremationsociety.com/obituary/Andy-Sandoval.
