Anita Garcia

Anita Garcia returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 27, 2009. Anita was born on January 4, 1951, to Apolonio and Eva Garcia in Hanford, California. She was employed by Imperial Savings and later by Marquez Brothers until she left and moved to Fresno to be closer to family. Anita was very close to her family and was a part of their lives. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Apolonio and Eva Garcia; her three brothers, Apolonio Jr., Ricky, Tommy, and her sister Eleanor. We will miss her greatly at the family gatherings, holiday gettogethers and vacations she shared with us. Anita is survived by her sister, Virginia Stemple and her husband Bill of Fresno; her brother Robert and his wife Cora of Bakersfield; her sister, Sally Relyea and her husband Dana of Manassas, Virginia; brother Rueben and his wife Margie of Visalia; brother, Ralph and his wife Cindy of Hanford. She will be missed by all her nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Tia Penny was a very special lady to her nieces and nephews who loved her so much. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2009, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Newman Center on Friday, October 2, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. WHITEHURST Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home 1525 East Saginaw Way Fresno, (559)227-4048
