Fresno, California - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Armando Chacon of Fresno, California. He passed away at the age of 64, on May 14, 2022. Armando is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Ruben, Reyes, Ramon, Jose, David Chacon and Mary Chacon Moreno. Armando is survived by his siblings Angel, Joe and Victoria Chacon Espinosa.
Armando was born on October 26,1957 to Vibiano and Josephine Chacon in Fresno, California. Armando was born with Down Syndrome and doctors believed he would never be able to walk or speak. Not only did he beat the odds of walking but he would also learn how to speak Spanish and English. In his spare time, Armando loved to dance, listen to mariachis, spend time with family, watch WWE and he also enjoyed a good plate of enchiladas.
The Chacon family would like to thank Martha Morales who was Armandos social worker through Central Valley Regional Center. She provided support and assistance for all of our questions and concerns. The entire staff at Valley Care Residential Training and Learning Center. Holly Johnson and the kindhearted staff at The Cedar House. We would also like to give thanks to Hinds Hospice for their heartwarming support. You were all a blessing and may God bless you all.
