Bertha passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 18, 2009.
She worked as a welder on ships during World War II in Portland, Oregon. Bertha retired from the Roma Winery in Fresno after 36 years and moved to Rodeo, where she resided until her death. She enjoyed gardening, vacationing in Lake Tahoe, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be buried next to her late husband in Fresno, Ca.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Brown; and grandson Robby Dauer.
Beloved mother of Gloria (Graelish) Dauer- Meza and her husband Frank Meza, of Rodeo; grandson, Scott Dauer and his wife Kimberly Dauer, of Hercules; and great-grandchildren, Scotty and Kevin Dauer.

Our family loved Bertha. She was a great person and was lots of fun to talk to. She will be greatly missed. Love Jerry,Lupe,Rick. Stephen,Isabella and Monica.
