Clovis, California - Beverly Ann Redfern Archer of Clovis, California, passed away August 25, 2021, at the age of 77 years, in Stockton California.
Beverly was born in Carmel California and grew up on the family ranch in the Soledad Mission area. She attended Mission Grammar School, Gonzales High School and graduated from North High School in Salinas. Beverly went on to attend Hartnell College in Salinas graduating in the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) program. She worked for many years at the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and private medical offices.
Beverly had many interests. She loved anything to do with equestrian events and owned and rode for many years. She enjoyed supporting local 4-H programs and attending county and State fairs. Travel was her number one interest, including RV camping at Yosemite, cruising Alaska, Panama Canal, and the Caribbean. Hawaii was a favorite destination which included 14 visits over her lifetime. She definitely loved the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee including Gatlinburg and the Southern Gospel Music Festival at Dollywood with annual trips there over the past 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Helen Rummerfield Redfern, son Charles Delos Archer and husband Delos Richard Archer. She is survived in death by her sisters Betty Redfern Daoro (Walter) and Barbara Redfern Simon (Richard), cousins Jack Redfern (Ruth) and Gary Rummerfield (Ann), niece and nephew Tamara Daoro Kidwell (Jef), Samuel Daoro (Shelley), great-niece and nephews Amanda Kidwell Forry (Michael), Matthew Kidwell, Wesley Daoro, Bradley Daoro, great-great-niece and nephew Natalie and Jackson Forry. On her late husband's side, sisters-in-law Nancy Archer Hinson, Susan Archer Baker (Leland), and Helen Archer Kraft (Steve) and multiple caring and loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St. Salinas, Ca. 93901 Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 9:30am to 11:00am and graveside services 11:30am at Garden of Memories Memorial Park, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, Ca 93901.
