BEVERLY LEWIS Obituary

Beverly Ann Lewis was born on January 12, 1943, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Ann married her soul mate, David Paul Lewis, on July 1, 1966, after a three month courtship. They enjoyed 46 wonderful years together. As the kids were growing up, she was involved with Girl Scouts and PTA. She loved being a Grandma and was always ready to lend a helping hand. When she wasn't raising their kids or babysitting her grandkids, she was the beautiful partner that made L & L Interiors, Inc. for the past 26 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Ted Elford Johnson; her mother, Justie McCants; her step-father, Harvey McCants; her mother-in-law, Marion Lewis, and her sister, Jean Etheridge. Her love for God and her family was unconditional and was the glue that held everything together. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Ann was the much beloved wife of David Paul Lewis; mother of Shari Coy and her husband Bryan, Paul Lewis and his wife Jeana; much loved "grandma with the pool" to Travis and Tyler Coy; and "Nani" to Sami and Ryan Lewis. Ann leaves many loved ones behind including her sister, Nadine Cowan; her brothers, John Johnson and his wife Lodema, Duane Johnson, and David Lee Johnson and his wife, Kathy; and many nieces and nephews. Ann also had a home in Boothbay, Me. where she spent time throughout the year. She leaves behind her father-in-law, Harlan B. Lewis; her brother-in-law, Wendell Lewis and his wife Sheila; her sister-in-law, Ruth Michaud and her husband Bob; her sister-in-law Marie Andrews and her husband Dennis; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A Graveside Service will be held at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, Ca., on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held at College Church of Christ, 1284 E. Bullard, Fresno, Ca. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, she would want you to make a donation to your favorite charity.

Some people are born into wonderful families.
Others have to find or create them.
Being a member of a family is a priceless membership
that we pay nothing for but love.

Mrs. Lewis... I just wanted to thank you for all the times you allowed so many of the neighbors and myself, to use your drive way and playing many hours of baseball at your house. You did not have to allow that... You did... Thank you... My heart is with the ones left behind... My heart especially goes out to man that truly loved you with his whole heart... Because of you, you also was a big part of building the strong man that you shared many good years together with... You will be remembered for many years to come... God bless the Lewis family and comfort their heart in these times...
