Bob Serrano Obituary

Bob Tito Serrano

August 30, 1955 - July 11, 2024

Fresno, California - A Celebration of Life was held on July 31 to memorialize the life of Bob "Tito" Serrano who died following a long battle with diabetes. The event was attended by his many friends and family. Bob was born in Fresno and raised in Reedley until moving with his family in 1962. He graduated Clovis High School in 1979.

Bob was an aficionado of music, mainly rock bands of the late 60s to the late 80s and into modern-day groups. There seemed to be no limit to his knowledge of most groups and all genres of Rock. This love and knowledge of music led to a career as a DJ for radio station KKDJ in the early to late 80s. He gained a large group of fans and followers of the music selections and the conversations he held with fans on the phone as the tunes played into late night.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father Natalia and Salvador Serrano, sister Sylvia Shamoon Rhyne, and brother Mike Serrano. He is survived by long-time companion Victoria Ricci, his sons John, Zachary (Kristen), Adrian, and Christian (Jazzy), siblings Jean Ainger (Jack), Linda Serrano (Mike), Andrea Hostetler (Robin), Frank Javier Serrano (Evelyn), Enic Serrano, Richard (Penny), and Mark (Janet Picard). Bob was "Grandpa" to six grandchildren and "Uncle Bob" to 13 nieces and nephews and 26 great-nieces and nephews.

Bob loved life, music, family, the Giants, music, cooking, Victoria, fellowship, music, Pink Floyd, Mom and Dad, being a DJ, and music. We'll miss you so much. RIP, Brother. RIP.
