Fresno, California - Brook Lynn Abas of Fresno, CA passed away at Stanford Hospital on Feb. 01, 2021 after an 18 month battle with cancer. She was born in Yuba City, CA on April 10, 1999 to Rebecca Hatcher (Abas). Brook graduated from Central High School with a 4.0. GPA and moved to Milpitas, CA to attend San Jose State University majoring in Molecular Biology. Brook is survived by her mother Rebecca Abas, her stepfather Roy Johnson, siblings Norman Abas, Israel Abas, Monique Abas, Jaxson Johnson and Roy Johnson Jr. Grandparents Gregory an Anna Hatcher, of Osceola, MO and Grandmother Mary Alice Bennett of Antioch, CA. Brook enjoyed fashion, thrift shopping, writing, and music. Her motto in life was "Peace, Love, and Positivity" and lived this in her everyday life. Her kind hearted and sassy spirit and joy of life will be remembered on Saturday, February 20th 2021 with visitation from 12-3 pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm at All Faiths Funeral Home at 801 East Yosemite Ave Madera, CA 93638. A Celebration of. life will be held at 18800 Midland Way Madera, CA 93638 following her service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America - www.curesarcoma.org

She was an Amazing Young woman. She has touched many people's life. I remember she had a crush on me in the 5th 4th grade. We didn't go out or anything. I wish as we got older I could have known her better. I pray her family gets through this very tough time. I remember her being strong, funny, Amazing, and all around great person.
