Madera, California - Bruce Arnold Koch was born on May 4, 1949, and passed on August 26, 2021 at age 72. He was born to Hans Arnold Koch and Phyllis (Cranick) in Fresno, California. Bruce attended McLane High School, played on the wrestling and football teams, and graduated in 1967. He attended Fresno State, joined the Theta Chi fraternity, and graduated with a BA in Business and a MA in Business Administration. There he met Adelaide Dellavalle from Madera and they married in August 1971. Bruce worked at the Madera County Schools Office for more than 20 years and became the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Administrative Services. Later, he worked for Primerica Financial Services, as a Regional Leader, and became a Certified Financial Planner. After retirement, he was a member of the Personnel Commission and the Madera County Grand Jury. Bruce enjoyed living with his wife and four children on their ranch in Madera. He was a loving husband of 50 years, and a wonderful father. He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his brother, David (Maryann) Koch, and his sister, Karen (Dean) MacDonald, his wife, Adelaide Koch, and children Marcia (Jeff) Fulkerson, Christy (John) Honore', Hans (Jennifer Poblete) Koch and Natale Koch
A celebration of life will be held at the Calvary Cemetery of Madera in the Outdoor Arbor at 10 am Saturday, October 16, 2021.
