Carl Evans was not only my friend, but also a very good attorney, judge and a person with a lot of common sense. He taught me to navigate a boat deep sea fishing out of Avila Beach. All of us in our family had many good times with Carl and Ginny. Carl was a good listener and always quick with a smile and a good joke. We are truly going to miss this great man.

Judge Carl Evans was a good man and a great judge. It was a pleasure to appear before him. He was practical and actively sought a just result. They don't make judges like him anymore. We are the poorer for his passing.
