CARROLL ROWAN Obituary

Carroll Dean Rowan was born in Okemah, OK, and passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, in Fresno, CA, at the age of 70. He attended Tranquility Grammar School and High School. He has worked as a cattle herdsman, ranch foreman, and worked for local dairies. He was also associated with the Limousin Cattle Assn. He was preceded in death by his wife Lydia; his parents, Joe and Bernice; his brother James; and his sisters, Ann Cooper, Juanita Lambert, and Betty Houston. He is survived by his son Chad; his son Chance; and wife Jolyn; and grandchildren, Tyler, Shelbea, Jenner and Jillian. He also leaves his brother, Charles Rowan and wife Dovie of Kerman; and sister, Kathy Rowan of Fresno. He leaves his sisters-in-law, Lela Rowan of Tranquility, and Lucy Watkins of Fresno. Carroll has many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives. They will all remember the cowboy who has gone home. A Graveside Service will be held at the Golden Sunset Memorial Park, 310 Goldenrod Ave., Kerman, CA on Monday, May 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
