Catalina Del Real Obituary
February 13, 1934 - March 28, 2025
Clovis, California - God welcomed our Mom to Heaven on March 28, 2025.
She put up a good fight, battling various ailments and the loss of our Dad in 2020. She was a 26 year liver transplant survivor. Mom showed us the true meaning of strength, courage and determination. Mom was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother , always putting everyone else above her own health and needs. She always used to say "not to worry".
Mom loved her family unconditionally, spoiling and caring for us and wanting only the best for us. Inside her small frame was a huge heart, always paying attention to detail when buying any of us anything, making sure she gave us what we liked.
I'm so happy that we all got to share her 91st birthday with her.
She was a huge Fresno State Bulldog fan, always decorating the house red on game days.
Mom was unique in that she had a feisty spirit at times. That spirit is what also gave her the strength and will to carry on. Mom, you taught us so much about family and perseverance.
Mom overcame so much growing up, but together with our Dad laid the foundation for my brother and I.
We are so thankful God allowed Mom to have her final wishes, to receive last rites and pass at home.
Mom, there will always be a void in our hearts, you are irreplaceable. You will be forever loved and missed. We take comfort in knowing you have been reunited with Dad and are no longer in pain. Enjoy Heaven with Dad, you deserve it.
Thank you for everything Precious Mom, God be with you and Dad eternally.
Mom is preceded in death by her parents, Elena and Demetrio Veloz and all her siblings, Silvero, Martin, Demetrio, Jesus, Joseph, Josie, Lucy and Ricardo Veloz.
Viewing will be April 15th at Boice funeral chapel in Clovis from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a rosary to follow. Mass will be performed April 16th at our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Clovis at 10:30 a.m. with internment to follow at Saint Peter's cemetery in Fresno. Reception at Classic Catering in Clovis at 2:00 p.m.
