Craig Kennedy Obituary

LT. COL. RETIRED CRAIG E. KENNEDY U.S.A.F. Lt. Col. Craig Kennedy passed away on October 14, 2002, in Mariposa, CA. He was a graduate from Fresno High, and also from Fresno State. Enlisting to defend his country in WWII, he was then re-called for the Korean War, serving a total of 27 years in the military. He is survived by his wife, Corita, and their five children; a son, Craig M. Kennedy, and his wife, Jan; four daughters, Cindy Davis and her husband Carl, CiCi Ramirez and her husband Larry, Sue Lords and her husband Bob, and Stacy Reese and her husband Jim. Grandad was also loved by his 11 grandchildren, Shane, Brad, Andy, Ben, Christopher, Morgan, Robby, Bonnie, Katie, Camille, Jill and her husband Justin; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Aubrey. He is also survived by brother, Richard F. Kennedy; sister, Margaret DeYoung and her husband Joe; and many nieces and nephews. Interment, with honors, was held on October 22, 2002, at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA. Remembrances may be made to the SPCA Mariposa County, 5599 Hwy. 49 North, Mariposa, CA 95338.
