DANIEL HAROLD "Hal" DIEL

Daniel Harold "Hal" Diel died at his residence on August 31, 2013, living ninety full years. He was born in Fresno and lived the majority of his life there. Hal was an Eagle Scout, a World War II Navy medic, and a 35 year teacher in the Fresno Unified School District. He loved his Fresno State Bulldog teams, the Giants, refereeing, golfing, and bridge. He was a member of the Cross Church, the Las Palmas Masonic Lodge and the Fort Washington Country Club. Hal was predeceased by his beloved Marge. His survivors include his children, Dan, Rick and Debby; his seven grandchildren, Byron, Murray, Matt, Wendy, Scott, Jenna and Cara; and three great-grandchildren. A public Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 6, 2013, at Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery.
