Darren Ransdell Obituary

DARREN SCOTT RANSDELL Darren Scott Ransdell, age 44, owner and President of Kings Mortgage Services, Inc., died on Friday, May 28, 2004, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 14, 1959, in Hanford, CA, to Dale and Wilna Ransdell. He attended Armona Elementary and graduated from Hanford Union High School in 1978. Darren had worked in the real estate mortgage business for over 21 years. He and his sister Pam were partners at Kings Mortgage Services, Inc., which they began together in 1997. Darren grew up in Armona, CA, but lived most of his adult life in Laton and Hanford, CA. He was active in many different organizations and was a member of the Calvary Chapel of Hanford. Darren was a true family man and was most proud of his children. He was known for his love of people. He never met a stranger and had friends from two to ninety-two. He loved all sports and enjoyed playing golf and racing his own race car. Darren is survived by his wife Kris; his daughter and her husband, Kari and John Murray of Hanford; his son, Brandon Scott Ransdell of San Diego; an adopted daughter, Kameryn Ransdell of Hanford; a step-daughter, Kaytlyn Tuman of Hanford; one grandson, Caleb Murray of Hanford; his parents, Dale and Wilna Ransdell of Armona; one brother, Greg Ransdell and his wife Donna of Kentucky; and one sister, Pamela Raeber and her husband Michael of Visalia. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Chapel of Hanford, located at 1900 North Douty Street, Hanford, on Friday, June 4, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his name to The Calvary Chapel of Hanford. eople,,100,p People's Funeral ChapelHanford, CA (559)584-5591
