Debbie Watanabe Obituary

Debbie Watanabe passed away in Clovis on Monday, March 17, 2008, at the age of 41. She was born in Kanagawa, Japan, on Sepember 25, 1966. Debbie was a registered nurse and was employed at Childrens Hospital of Central California since 1995. She loved working at the hospital and enjoyed SCUBA diving. Tom and Debbie's family appreciate the love and support expressed by her friends and associates at Childrens Hospital; her dive buddies and friends at Bob's Dive Shop; and Brother Paul Taggert; and Sister Ileana Coronado at the church. She is survived by her fiance, Tom Harris; father, Tad Watanabe; mother, Eiko Washington; sisters, Setsuko Silva, Tomi Watanabe and Wendy Watanabe; brothers, Henry Washington, Jr. and Anthony Washington; dear friends, Kathryn Kawaguchi, Stacie Licon, Laura Cooper and Reiko Fujimoto; two nieces and 6 nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Orchard View Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 342 W. Nees Avenue, Clovis, on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at 12:00 noon.
