Dennis Leland Scott

Born on September 3, 1941, in Fresno, Ca., and passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009, at age 67. Dennis was the best father, husband, son, brother and grandfather. He was loved by all more than can be expressed. He left a hole in our hearts and will be missed forever. Dennis had his own business for many years and was also employed at the Fresno Bee. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and loved to play Poker. He was very involved in the lives of his family and loved them dearly. Dennis was a kind, caring man whose easy going demeanor led him to make friends everywhere he went. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; son, Mike; daughter, Shelley and her husband Richard; his mother, Pearl; his brother, Ken and his wife Judy; his sister, Penny; three grandchildren, Kevin, Lance, and Gianna; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a Celebration of his life held at the Woods Mobile Home Park in the clubhouse at 1001 Sylmar in Clovis on Sunday, February 15, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Rescue of Fresno, ARF, 4545 E.
