I worked with Richard in the late 1960s in Fresno, CA. Though I knew him just a couple of years, I remember him well and, in fact, was recently remembering him and wishing I could talk to him again. We shared an office, so used to share information about our cases and our lives. I consider him one of the mentors in my life. I found him to be a kind, funny and caring man. Obviously, the type of person that has a strong effect on people, to be remembered fondly after all these years. He had a mischievous sense of humor and was well-liked by all his co-workers. He was a religious man and I'm sure is resting in peace and looking down on us all with love. Condolences to his family.
