Diran Koroyan

Diran Koroyan, age 88, a resident of Fresno, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008. He was born in Armenia on August 24, 1919. He worked as a machinist in Egypt for 14 years before operating his own machin-ery business for 12 years. Diran brought his family to the United States in 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hagop Koroyan and Anna Jerahian Koroyan; three brothers and two sisters. Diran is survived by his wife, Martha Keadjian Koro-yan; his son, Jack Koroyan; a daughter and son-in-law, Nairie and Ron Nieto; six grandchildren and numer-ous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Yost & Webb Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Armen-ian Church on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ararat Cemetery.
