mr. cooley was a very special child of God. he always treated my family and i as if we were family, not just tenants of his park. we were never afraid to go to him with our problems here in the park knowing his answers would always be fair and true. he often let my husband work for him here whenever he noticed that he was out of work, funny but it always happened at just the right time. like the Lord whispered in his ear and he obeyed. thank you mr. cooley. may the Lord God shine his face on the family in this time of your sorrow.

For the short period of time we knew Don he was nothing but genuine and compassionate! He gave my children permission to swim whenever they wanted, whether they were home or not. Little did he know my kids asked everyday ;)

He will be missed by many, but how great is our God that we will never have to say goodbye, just see you later!

I am so sorry for the family and I have been praying for their strength. I knew Don through my sister-in-law, Glenda Gilliland and I know he was a true man of God. He is rejoicing today in the presence of his creator. He has made the final flight to Home.

My condolences to the entire Cooley family. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Cooley. He helped our church start a ministry in the Sierra Mobile Home Park that continues to grow. Each time I saw him,
he had a word of encouragement for the work that we were doing.

It seems to me that my parents Wilburn & Pansy McKibben were always close friends with Don & Carol & we thought so highly of them, as a kid I looked forward to the times our families would be together, as an adult I found them to be life long examples worthy of following, I love & respect them, I'll never forget their gifts of love & hospitality, & so much more, oh to be more like them !

I remember my Aunt Helen saying that Don Cooley was the best pastor she had ever had. He was the pastor of The Church of God of Prophecy she attended in Sacramento. We heard about him being a pastor at The Church of God of Prophecy in Vernon, B. C. Canada which is my husband, Norm Hubner's home town. He and his parents were very special people. Our sympathy goes out to Carol and the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
