Donald Hazeltine Obituary

Donald Jack Hazeltine

July 25, 1942 - November 23, 2024

Clovis, California - Donald Jack Hazeltine, lovingly known as Don, was born on July 25, 1942, in Fresno, California, to David and Edith Hazeltine. He passed away on November 23, 2024, at Clovis Community Hospital in Clovis, California, at the age of 82.

Don graduated from Bullard High School in 1960 and married Judith Winter that same year. Together, they had two daughters, Annette and Kim, before later parting ways. Don spent much of his career in the automotive industry and retired as a buyer for Future Ford. In 1981, Don met Diane Williams, and they were married in 1984. They shared 30 wonderful years together until Diane's passing in 2015. During their time together, Don often assisted Diane with her pet-sitting business, a venture they both enjoyed deeply.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, David and Edith Hazeltine; his wife, Diane; his sister, Shelly; his daughter Annette Matthews; and his stepdaughter Robin Williams. He is survived by his daughter Kim Phillips; his grandchildren Dustin, Mitch, Cody, and Zack; and two great-grandchildren, Casey and Shawn.

A graveside service will be held on January 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Clovis Cemetery, located at 305 N Villa Ave., Clovis, California. A reception will follow at Park Creek Village.

Don will be remembered for the connections he built throughout his life and the joy he found in helping others. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
