Dear Family
Just a note to let you know I'm thinking of you. What a blessing it was to have shared in the life of Cousin Earsleen. One of these ole days we too will fly away to that land that God has prepared for his people. May the Lord give you peace and comfort you during this time and in the days to come. God bless you always is my prayer. Your Cousin

Shelton and David, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. As you know we laid our mother to rest 5 years ago and time does make the grieving easier to bear. My prayers are with you in your time of grief. May God keep you and your families in his loving embrace. Margo Stewart Lewis

Omie and I will miss the times we sat for hours with Earse discussing the scriptures and the conditon of today's church. She meant so much to me because she was one of my mothers(Ella Mae) best friends. She and cousin Francis, and Mifflin were there for mom in her last days. Cousin Earse had such a great spirit and attitude, even in her darkest times. She had an infectious smile that would light up the room. I can just see that smile when she heard these words," welcome home good and faithful servant, job well done." Sheldon, David, and Mark we love you.

God called home a beautiful "Lady" that I had the pleasure of working with in both the Juvenile and Adult Probation Divisions.
To those who could see her God given radiance she was an inspiration on how to live our lives. Earslean will remain a gentle and special person in my heart and memories.
God Speed to a wonderful Lady and God's Blessings on her family.

When I met Auntie she welcomed me with open arms. Just in that short time she changed my life forever! Her warm spirit gave me courage to face any obstacle that may come in my way. Her smile brightened up my day and she had no idea what that meant to me. As I observed her I saw such a beautiful and mighty Woman of God with so much love in her heart. I am so thankful that I met such a strong and wonderful woman whose beauty was in and out. She changed my life forever and I will always cherish that.

Even though a thousand red roses may look the same, there is always that one that is more beautiful than all the rest. Earslean was that one special rose. Her smile and warmth were like no other. Earslean had that rare gift..the gift where God says, "ah, that's what I'M talking about". God gave her that inner beauty that said, 'God is in control of my life, and I want to share that peace and hope with you." It was clear that Earslean's life was directed and blessed of God. She was so excited about her Jesus, and was not afraid to say so, and not afraid to live it in her daily life. I will miss her spirit, that spirit that said, "God got this!!!" What a wonderful day that will be when Jesus comes back and calls His children home. There, flying swifly up to Jesus will be our sister, Earslean. Oh, we can tell who she is, 'cause God will allow her to keep that loving smile. To the family, thank you for sharing such a precious gift with us. You are truly loved!!
