Everett East Obituary

EVERETT BILLY JOE EAST "BILL" Bill, of Caruthers, was born June 15, 1937, and went home to be with His Lord and Saviour on May 31, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evert and Wilma East and sister, Betty Beyen. Bill retired from Fresno County Building Maintenance department after 20 years of service. He was very involved in church and community activities and building projects and was a member of the Caruthers Bass Club. He enjoyed attending the Caruthers Church of the Nazarene, fishing, golfing and camping with his family and friends. PAPA, YOU WILL BE MISSED He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ina Louise "Louie" East; sons, Garvin and wife, Kim and Kevin and wife, Shelley; four grandchildren, Jenna, Stephanie, Cody and Claire, who were the joy of his life, six brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Fowler Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at Caruthers Full Gospel Assembly of God on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at 10:30 A.M., followed by interment at Washington Colony Cemetery in Easton.
