Frank James

FRANK JAMES Born on August 4, 1909, in Beloit, WI, to Frank and Ruby James. Frank passed away June 22, 2002, with his sons at his side. He grew up in the Laton area and graduated from Hanford High. He served in the European Theatre in WWII. Frank retired in 1977, after 22 years with the City of Fresno. He has seen everything from the first airplane to our modern technology. He was preceded in death by his wife Val, his brothers Ray and Dick, and his daughter-in-law Gail. He is survived by his son, David, son Alan and his wife Janice, grand- children Mike, Michele, Christi, and Jennie, and great-grandsons Michael and Alex. His legacy left for his family, is to appreciate life, keep a sense of humor, and to enjoy what the world has to offer. We will miss you Dad. Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, in Clovis, Sunday, June 30, 2002, from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, Monday, July 1, 2002, at 10:30 A.M. A 'Celebration of Life' will be held July 20, 2002, at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church at Cedar and Gettysburg in Fresno. Remembrances may be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, Inc.
