Gabriele Alger- Greulich Obituary
Gabriele Alger- Greulich, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2009. She was born on July 23, 1955, in Heidelberg Germany.
A much loved wife, mother, artist, musician, and attorney, she came to California for a Master's Degree in International Law and met her husband Matthew while they both studied at McGeorge School of Law. A successful attorney, Gabriele and Matt established their own law practice, Alger & Alger, in Fresno.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Alger; her daughters, Sophie and Sonia, of Clovis; sister, Dr. Marie-Claire Robinson; brother Dr. Martin Greulich; and mother, Leoni Greulich, all of Stuttgart, Germany.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Sanger Cemetery, on Friday, July 17, 2009, at 2:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Community Church, in Clovis, on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.

Dear MR Matthew Alger,
yesterday we- Gabriele´s former classmates - met in Stuttgart to come together to talk about our common School time in Germany. We were shocked to hear that Gabriele has passed.
we will always remember her.

Matthew, Sophia and Sonja, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Gabrielle and I know how much she loved her family. I was saddened to have missed her services while I was out of town. My thoughts are with you.

Matthew...we are downloading the information to attend the graveside service. I did not know Gabbie was ill. I left the club several years ago. She was my tennis partner. I could not attend the memorial today. Gabbie...I will always remember you...what a dear friend you were. Meine liebe Freund...Ich liebe dich. Schlafen wohl..

I am deeply sorry that Gabriele has passed away. I used to see her at Symphony with her daughter, and then she adopted her sister's child, as a little sister to her girl. I used to play tennis with her (foursome) until she moved to Clovis, and I am shocked to see that she passed away. She was a lovely person.

May I say what a honor it was to know Mrs. Alger as one of my customers here at the Bank. She was a delightful woman and will be greatly missed. I share in her loss and send my deepest sympathy to you her family at this time.

I cannot find the words to say how deeply sorry I am to hear that Gabriele had passed away. I have great memories working for her and I will always cherish those memories in my heart.
