I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Even though I did not have much direct contact with him, his presence at Clovis High had a very positive influence in my life. He was a very fair and professional man. Sincerely, John Kruzic

What a huge loss for all of mankind. He was truly an inspiring humanitarian for our country and for each individual walking through his life.
Though my meetings with Mr. Kastner were short and most in an adult life through various Clovis functions, class reunions and a memory of his being Vice Principal during my high school years, I remember many of the high school stories told by my brother about Mr. Kastner. Those stories are full of total respect for a very honest, caring and fair man. I also remember no student was ever a stranger to Mr. Kastner. His inspiration through all who knew or knew of him served to inspire us to success within our own lives. I only began to know him as Tink as an adult, and early on, began to wish I had known him more personally from the beginning of my years at Clovis High School.
Through his heroic military contributions, educational and civic contributions and his love for his family, his life will be one of many memories and tributes. Thank you to his family for sharing such a wonderful man.

Dear Thelma: Tink will be missed sorely by all of us us who knew him just from the 86th FBG reunions. I, personally, can hardly imagine a reunion without him. Keep the faith. Onward and upward. Teep.

I am so sorry to hear of Tink's death. I experienced his many stories over the years, not only as a former CHS student, but also as a former CUSD employee. He was very proud of his commitment to young people and of his service to our country. It is my honor to have known this great man. He will be greatly missed.

Tink will be missed by all. He inspired so many of us, descendents of Wm. Templeton Cole, to value our history and remember that nothing is more important than family.
