Georgia Flores Obituary

Georgia passed away in Fresno, Ca. on Monday, March 3, 2008, at the age of 91. She retired from being a cook for 20 years. We would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Hy-Pana House for the care and friendship extended to our mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony C. Flores, Jr.; parents, Delfino and Luisa Arceo; sisters, Brigida Aguilar and Refugia Collazo; and children, Rosa Bencomo, Manuel Bencomo, and Daniel, Frank and Michael Flores. Georgia is survived by her companion, Jose Gonsalez; her sons, Anthony Arceo Flores of Fresno and Robert Arceo Flores of San Francisco, Joe Bencomo of N.M. and Daniel Bencomo of Az.; her daughter, Gloria F. Delgado of Fresno; her brother, Louie Arceo and his wife Mary of Fresno; her brother-in-law, Rogelio Flores and his wife Yolanda of Fairfield; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, her great-great granddaughter, Adrianna Escobedo; and many nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a Visitation at Tinkler Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2008, from 2:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John's Cathedral on Friday, March 7, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
