Gregory Comsudis

AGE: 91 • Hillsborough

Gregory Comsudis passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at Parker at River Road in Piscataway, NJ. He was 91. Born in NYC to Anastasia and Savvas Comsudis, he was raised in Iselin and later resided in Colonia before moving to Hillsborough. After graduating from Woodbridge High School, Greg worked for a time prior to enlisting in the US Navy where he served as a Machinist's Mate First Class during World War II. He later married Elaine Janatos and together they raised three children during their 63 years of marriage. He was an entrepreneur who owned and managed successful eating establishments, worked for a time with Vestal, a Division of W. R. Grace and later partnered with his wife becoming nationally recognized Tupperware Managers/Distributors. After retiring Greg was offered part-time work as a courier for ADP in Cranbury, NJ where he enjoyed working for 10 more years! He was a hard working, well liked man who provided a good home and lots of love for his family. His memory will be eternal.

Services will begin Friday 9:00 AM at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St. Somerset, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway. Burial will follow at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, P O BOX 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 www.alz.org.
