Haig Mosesian passed away on January 9, 2019 in Fresno, Calif. at the age of 86. Born December 28, 1932 to George and Lucy Mosesian, Haig was a lifelong resident of Kerman, Calif. and proprietor of the Family Shoe Store. He was a veteran of the Korean War, and was an active member and chaplain of the Kerman Memorial Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. For many years Haig was a defensive line coach for Fresno's Central High School Football Team. "Coach Mo" was a beloved and well-respected member of the team, even after he retired from coaching and became an avid spectator and fan. He is survived by his sister Roxie Mosesian Bold (Lawrence), nephew Timothy Bold, nieces Laura Bold and Teresa Bold Sammonds (Stephen), great-nephews Andrew Sammonds and Ryan Sammonds, and devoted companion Antonia Garcia. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Palm Memorial - Kerman Chapel, 538 South Madera Avenue. A service be held on Saturday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by burial in Fresno.
