Happy Bartlow Obituary
October 19, 1938 - September 1, 2023
Fresno, California - On Friday, September 1, 2023, Happy Mark Bartlow peacefully passed away in Fresno, California. He was born in 1938 in Southern California. He grew up in Fresno and graduated from Clovis High School. In 1959, he married JoAnn Cooper and they had two daughters. Hap was the owner/project coordinator of Bartlow Construction Co., and spent most of his life as a contractor during the expansion of the Fresno area in the 1960's to 1990's. Hap loved the beach, his Lakers and 49ers, and living life to the fullest. Happy was known as hard-working, fun-loving and a friend to all.
Happy was blessed with his two daughters, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Hap will be greatly missed by his two daughters, Dawn and Jamey, his brother Jean, longtime friend Scott, his dear friend Betty and all those that knew him.
A family Celebration of Life will be held privately. Memorial donations may kindly be made in Happy's name to Alano Club Fresno, Poverello House and the Wounded Veterans Project.
