Hiroshi Kawasaki Obituary

HIROSHI KAWASAKI Mr. Hiroshi Kawasaki, a resident of Clovis and many year resident of Reedley, died on Friday, April 23, 2004, at the age of 84. Mr. Kawasaki was born to Kenzo and Shisuyo (Tsukimura) Kawasaki on December 22, 1919, in Marysville, CA. Hiroshi attended high school in Japan and after his return to the United States, he served during WWII in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in the 442 Regimental Combat Team. He married Emiko Amie Yamada of Reedley on July 31, 1954. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2003. Hiroshi worked as a Field Supervisor for many years for Peloian Ranches. Mr. Kawasaki is survived by his sons Harvey and Stuart and his wife Cheryl; a granddaughter Kara; grandson Joseph; great- granddaughters Brenda and Akaylah all of Clovis; and his brother, Kenji Kawasaki of Japan. Visitation will be held at Cairns Funeral Home in Reedley on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Reedley Buddhist Church on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at 12:00 noon.
