JANET RAND SHARP

Janet was born in Fresno, California on December 23, 1943, to Delmore and Emma Rand. She passed away in Fresno, on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Janet worked at Fresno Community Hospital, Kaiser and St. Rose Hospital. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. She loved spending time with her best friends from high school and going to the movies. Her passion was singing and she was always the life of the party. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and dedicated friend. She will always be in our hearts. Janet is survived by her loving husband, John Sharp of Madera Ranchos; her daughters, Michelle Rodriguez and her husband Eddie of Fresno, Katherine Jose of Agoura Hills, Ca.; and her step-son, John R. Sharp II and his wife Kindy of Harrison, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Eddie Jr., Bryan, Alex, Dylin, Brandy, Anthony, Christian and Nathan Rodriguez, Luis Soto, John III, Kevin, Brendon, Nicholas and Michael Sharp; and two great-grandchildren, Eddie III and Andre Rodriguez; Janet also leaves behind her brother, Robert Rand and his wife Linda, of Madera; and two nieces, Terri Groth and Tammi Barry.
