Jerry Lee Emerzian

1932 - 2024

Jerry Lee Emerzian entered the gates of heaven on December 22, 2024 in Fresno, Ca at age 92. Jerry was born February 5, 1932 in San Francisco, Ca. She grew up in Fresno, with her brother, and parents. Jerry was a graduate of Fresno High School and proud Delta Gamma during her college years at Fresno State. In her young professional life, Jerry taught elementary school. She later married Lawrence Emerzian and was a devoted mother to four children, who she loved dearly. After raising her family she enjoyed a second career, operating Frank Alexander Advertising, a business that would thrive due to her attention to detail and honesty.

Jerry will forever be remembered for her grace, poise, grit and constant selflessness. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary, always knew the answer to your etiquette questions, and had impeccable fashion sense. Jerry was a lifelong sports enthusiast. She enjoyed golf, horse racing and if there was a basketball or baseball game, you could bet she was watching, especially if her California teams were playing. She greeted everyone with a warm smile, made everyone feel at home and never served a cocktail without a napkin. Her hospitality, warmth, sincerity and guidance will be sorely missed by all.

Jerry is survived by her four children, Mark Emerzian and wife Lisa, Lori Olsen, Scott Emerzian and Lynn Czorny and husband Andrew.Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Dick Markarian, father, Auggie Walsh, brother, Ken Walsh, and sister-in-law Lynn Walsh. Jerry was beloved grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

A private service will be held to honor Jerry's life. In lieu of flowers, remembrance can be made to The Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
