My father, Willard Walkenhorst, worked for John during the late 50's and into the '60's as a carpenter. Dad would take houses that were moved out of the "new" Fwy 99 going through the valley and get them back to function on new property. We also rented a house from John for many years in Selma. Sorry to hear of his passing. He was a fair man to my dad.

Johnny was like a brother to my dad, Cache. If it wasn't for Johnny, our family wouldn't have vacations. We had many fond memories in San Francisco and the coast. He was always so much fun to be around. He really was a legend! We will miss him so much!
