He is survived by his mother, Melissa Vega and her husband Chuck; his father, Todd Ferreira; sisters, Sam, Chrissy, Brit and Mindy; grandmothers, Jennifer Ward and Denyce Fries; and great-grandparents, Ray and Gloria Matthews, and Aunt Fee. A Memorial Service will be held at Valley Life Community Church on Friday, September 10, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.

My son was in town from college when we saw the tragic outcome of your life. We said a prayer together for you. We remember what a great soccer player you were. You were always on the same team as my son so I watched you both play. I won't forget the way your eyes lite up and your glowing smile!
