Caruthers, California - Born on July 02, 1942 in Chino, California, Juliet was the only daughter of Basque immigrants, John Baptist and Grace Robidart. Juliet's mother immigrated from Spain; her father immigrated from the French Basque country and settled in Chino where they built the Centro Basco Hotel and Boarding house in 1940. Speaking Spanish at home, Juliet entered kindergarten speaking only Spanish. However, by the end of her high school career, she spoke English, Spanish, Basque, and French and graduated Salutatorian of her high school class. Juliet had a passion for her Basque heritage. She was a proud member of the Southern California Basque Club, dancing and traveling with her lifelong friends throughout her early years. Shortly after earning her A.A. degree from Mt. San Antonio College, she was introduced to the love of her life, Antonio (Tony) Campos. They met at the steps of St. John's Cathedral in Fresno at the wedding of his brother, Fermin. They were married less than a year later on April 23, 1966.
Juliet and Tony established their home in Caruthers. The Campos Brothers business originally consisted of a small sheep and trucking operation, started from the meager savings that they were able to accumulate by working for others. As the operation grew so did Juliet's involvement, in the business as well as the surrounding community. Juliet and Tony welcomed their children, Steven in 1968 and twins, Jeannine and Joseph in 1971. She set an extraordinary example to her children and grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
She was an active and very involved mom, wife, sister, and friend. Juliet spent years volunteering at Caruthers Elementary both in the classrooms and in the PTA. A devout Catholic, Juliet volunteered her time teaching catechism classes at her local church, Our Lady of Assumption. Juliet loved to write and had a passion for history. For over 25 years wrote a historiography piece about her heritage for the Fresno Basque Club's annual booklet. An avid reader, Juliet belonged to a book club with a group of girlfriends who brought her great joy and comfort over the last seven years. Juliet and Tony traveled the world together, meeting old and making new friends wherever they went. Juliet was a founding member of the Fresno Basque Club and taught a generation of Basque Dancers. Juliet was also very active with the North American Basque Organization and the Society of Basque Studies in America. In 2004, Juliet and Tony were honored by the Basque Hall of Fame. Throughout the years she was involved with and supported organizations such Catholic Charities, Holy Cross Center for Women, Raisin Wives, the Marjorie Mason Center, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Valley Childrens Hospital and Valley Public television to name a few.
She was always willing to help others and her caring nature was always offered selflessly. Juliet had a servant's heart and was always willing to give of her own talents and financial gifts to benefit those that are less fortunate. She will be missed dearly and in our hearts forever.

Juliet is preceded in death by her parents, JB and Grace Robidart, brothers Marcel (Mary) Robidart, and Gabriel (Bernice) Robidart.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Antonio (Tony) Campos, her children; Steven (Maria) Campos, Jeannine (Nigel) Grech and Joseph Campos. Juliet is also survived by her ten loving grandchildren, Vanessa, Antonio, Audrey, Ava, Olivia, Grace, Mathieu, Vivian, Sophia and George.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hinds Hospice, Right to Life or Divine Masters Sisters.
