KAREN L. EDIE

Karen Edie was born on July 30, 1953, and passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, from an auto accident near Coarsegold, Ca. She worked in the insurance industry for most of her life, most recently employed as a Personal Lines Consultant for Der Manouel Insurance Group. She was well known in both the Fresno and Coarsegold communities. Karen had a zest for life, and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved spending time with family and friends; she loved to travel and experience new adventures. Karen had a positive impact on everyone she met and will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love her. She is survived by her husband John; her three children, Jeff, Sara and Trevor; her granddaughter Kambria; and her beloved dogs, Pismo and Princess. She is also survived by her father Eugene; her brother Chris and his wife Debbie; her brother Ted; sister Lori; her nieces and nephews;, and many dear friends. At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Karen Edie Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, Account number 3014363893.
