Kay Pulliam Obituary

Kay passed away peacefully into the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, joining her beloved husband Lloyd. Kay was born in Morley, Colorado on December 21, 1923, to Antonio and Vic-toria Raco. Her family re-located to Fresno in 1929 to a dairy ranch on Malaga Ave. After graduating from Fowler High School, Kay worked for Roma Winery. She married the love of her life on June 25, 1949, and began her new career as a homemaker and mother. She loved caring for her family and maintaining her yard. Up until a few years ago, Kay could be found working in her yard rain or shine and arranging the many rocks she collected over the years. Kay was preceded in death by Lloyd in 1994, her beloved husband of 45 years. She is also prece-ded in death by her sisters, Marguerite Vucovich, Rosa Sargenti and Phyllis Ben-nett; her brothers, James V. Raco, Tony Raco and Donald Raco; as well as her nieces, Joyce Bennett and Michelle Martin. Kay is survived by her son Lloyd and his wife Tina; daughter, Rosemary Kennedy and her husband Daral; grandchildren, Anth-ony and his wife Paula, Victoria Lewis and her husband Matthew, Kristen Sandoval and her husband Carlos, and Kirk Kennedy; and her great-grandchil-dren, Diane Pulliam, Bro-oke Kennedy, and Brittney, Bailey and Jared Sandoval. She also leaves one brother and his spouse, Fred and Barbara Raco; her three sisters-in-law, Lois Raco, Marge Raco and Mildred Raco; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends including her life-long friend, Marie Sargenti. Special thanks to Kay's care giver, Barbara Phillips, for the love and care she provided Kay during the last few years. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Friday, May 4, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Inter-ment will be at Belmont Memorial Park. Rosemary and Lloyd,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. My "Aunt Kay and Uncle Lloyd" were wonderful Godparents to me and I have wonderful memories of them both. My sons also have great memories trick or treating at Aunt Kay's house. My deepest sympathy goes out to you, but we know she is now content and in a beautiful place with God.

Rosemary and Lloyd,

Your Mother was my longest living client and I will miss her dearly. I loved talking with her because she always asked how my Mother and family were doing like she had known them her entire life. In fact the way she bragged about me most people would have thought she was my Mom. I look forward to the day when we meet again in heaven so we can all visit once more. May God Bless you and be with you in the coming days.

Rosemary and family:
Your Mom became a wonderful person in my mind even though I had never met her. I know your hearts and minds are filled with wonderful memories and I know you always wanted the very best for her ... what's better than Heaven?
Love and God's Comfort,
Linda
