KAYE KOZUKI Obituary

On September 24, 2017, at the age of 99 years just six months shy of his 100th birthday, Kenso Tsuboi peacefully passed away at Sierra View Homes in Reedley, CA with his wife, Josie at his side. Ken was born and raised in Reedley, CA. His family was interned at Gila, AZ during the war. Ken farmed in the Selma area for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Kings River Golf Club in Kingsburg and hit the first, "hole in one". He was a long time member of the Parlier Buddhist Temple. He and Josie traveled to many countries and enjoyed taking their older grandchildren on a few of their trips. He was preceded in death by his brothers Hiroshi and wife Alice, also Masao and wife Haruko. Kenso is survived by his wife of 75 years, Josie; son, Sonny and wife Gail; grandchildren, Kara and Raiden; daughter, Kaye Kozuki and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Blake, Lori, Tim; and nine great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Parlier Buddhist Temple on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

Kaye and Family, this Luis Rodriquez classmate of your brother Sonny. Linda and I send you and your family of "Deepest Condolences of the passing of Dad. I knew your Dad and Mom while I was working as Sho's in Parlier. Your. Dad was a wonderful man, so is your dear Mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Sonny at this difficult time.
