Fresno, California - Larry Michael Fonseca, 65, of Fresno , California, passed away on November 30, 2023, in Fresno, California. He was born on February 16, 1958.
Larry, also known as Big Mike, enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He had a warm and welcoming personality that endeared him to those around him.
He is survived by his daughters Michelle Cruz and Miranda Fonseca, his son-in-law David Cruz, his brother and sister-in-law Rudy and Pat Fonseca, and his sister Towana Fox. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Mary Fonseca, and his sister Sandra Fonseca.
Mike attended Westside Elementary School and later graduated from Riverdale High School. He then pursued a career as a Cotton Ginner, where he made significant contributions to the industry.
In his free time, Mike had a passion for fishing and enjoyed attending car swap meets. He was also a dedicated fan of the Los Angeles Rams.
A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Monday December 18, 2023 at Selma Cemetery, located at 2430 Floral Ave, Selma, CA 93622, starting at 1:00 pm. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Wallins Funeral, located in Sanger, CA.
Mike Fonseca will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Mike chopping cotton out in the Westside, Britz, during the hot summers while on break from grade school and high school. Those were rough days and now Mike can rest in peace.
