Linda Edmonds Obituary

Linda Carol Edmonds

July 24, 1949 - March 27, 2025

Fresno, California - Linda Edmonds passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27 at the age of 75. She was the eldest daughter of Albert R. and Doris R. Edmonds, the co-founders and longstanding owners of Edmonds Jewelers and H. Lawrence and Company Jewelers in Fresno. Although she spent much of her life in Fresno, Linda was a proud alumna of California State University, Long Beach, graduating with a degree in speech communication in 1973. Linda was an exceptionally generous person whose cheesecake-baking, bargain-hunting, and gift-giving abilities were legendary among her large community of cherished friends and family. She was a steady and true friend who often put the needs of others before her own; she had a natural feel for how to throw a party and make all of her guests feel seen and welcomed. She loved to write and to give speeches, memorably never writing the ordinary, always aiming to move a room to laughter with her indomitable spirit and flair. Linda is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her two sons, Jeremy A. Teissere of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Anthony E. (Sarah) Pacini of Clovis, California; her two grandchildren, Stephen and Gianna; her brother, Dr. Harvey L. Edmonds (Carrie Boolootian), and sister, Gina Edmonds Rodgers, both of Fresno; and many friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Linda's family offers their deepest gratitude to the staff of both North Point Health Care & Wellness Center and Hinds Hospice for their exceptional care of Linda these last three years. A memorial service for Linda will be held at Chapel of the Light on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Donations in her honor can be made to Hinds Hospice of Fresno.

Linda and I went to school together from kindergarten at Del Mar Elementary to graduating from Bullard High School in 1967. But it was later in life that we became close friends. We supported each other through difficult times and laughed together through good times. Linda, I will miss
your friendship and will always fondly remember you.

Linda´s always in my heart and in my mind we shared so many memories that were all wonderful. From cruises together to long talks on the phone through good times and bad times we stayed the best of friends. Linda and I were high school friends, graduating from Bullard High School in 1967. We also hesitantly agreed to our parents' requests to participate in the Infant of Prague Auxiliary's Debutante Ball. The photo was taken at a mother/daughter luncheon. Pictured from L to R are JoAnn Damiani Cigan, Diane Ramos, Sharon Moffatt (Mahaffy), and Linda Edmonds.
Farewell my friend...until we meet again...

Linda was a great and faithful friend to so many of her classmates at her Alma Mater Bullard High school. She kept in touch for years with her close friends. Throughout life she was fun to be around. She was an influencer and was always "in the know" of the activities and going ons! You could always find out what´s happening from Linda. She had a great friendly smile and loved to laugh! She was a planner and an organizer who produced our BHS `67 Class reunions with her perfect touch. Her generosity, dedication and kindness to friends was her gift to us. She will be greatly missed and always remember fondly by her BHS gang!
With love and condolences to her family. Sue Davila Britton.

While I am saddened by the news of Linda´s passing and going to heaven to be an angel I am glad she has no more bad times here on earth. She was a cherished friend who will always be forever in my heart .
