MARGARET JUNE MELIKIAN

Margaret "Margo" passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the age of 90. She is now resting comfortably with her Lord in heaven, probably playing the piano. She was born and raised in Fresno and graduated from Roosevelt High School with honors. She was an excellent student and a champion speller. Margaret was a lady in every sense of the word, she was highly intelligent, caring, nurturing and always a classy woman. She left a lasting legacy with all who were fortunate to have known her. She always gave more than she took. She was an active member of the First Armenian Presbyterian Church where she left many wonderful memories. She was a wonderful pianist and delighted in playing for her family and friends. She loved her church, her family and her piano. We will all miss her. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband Vaughn. They were a great couple. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Carruth and her husband Lowell; her sons, Marvin and his wife Nancy, and Allan and his wife Gigi; her grandchildren, Karson Kalashian and his wife Jennifer, Ryan Kalashian and his wife Courtney, Michelle Jaccard and her husband Joshua, Lauren Melikian, and Aimee Woodard and her husband Michael; and four great-grandchildren.
