Marilyn Gail Bricker, daughter of George and Gail Goodwin, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2016, surrounded by loving family members in Fresno, CA. Born on March 21, 1924, in Fresno, Marilyn attended Fresno High School, graduated from Castilleja in Palo Alto, CA, and Stanford University. Marilyn married Eugene Bricker in 1948, and together they shared an adventurous and colorful life. They had three children, Lynn, Kem, and Tony.
An avid reader, dachshund devotee, snow skier, and sailing companion for Gene, she graciously hosted dinners for friends and sailors at the Huntington Lake cabin, and a festive Fourth of July gathering each year with dear lady friends. Her artfully planned Christmas Eve dinners are a treasured family memory.
Marilyn's life included volunteer work with the Holiday Guild, Junior League and Fresno Art Center, favoring causes that supported Valley Children's Hospital, which her mother, Gail Goodwin, was one of the original founders. She worked for Vida Glenn Real Estate. where life long friendships were fostered.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Lynn; son Kem; daughter-in-law Terri; and grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan and Rory. She will be fondly remembered by her family for her love, wit, style, and reading assignments. She is, and will be greatly missed by many.
At Marilyn's request, a private family service will be held.

Marilyn was a good neighbor. I enjoyed talking with her, often at our mail boxes located directly across the street from each other. She seemed to be a good and caring person with a nice sense of humor.
