Dear Pauly, Carol, Mindy, Jill, Jay, Jennifer, and children:

I will forever remember Mark as a very kind, fun, and talented person. My most fond memory of Mark is when we came for a visit to Kansas City (at least 20 years ago)and he whipped out his unicycle and started riding it up and down the street. I couldn't believe someone could ride with one tire, no handlebars, and not wipe out!! Mark was having such a great time showing his little cousins. He always treated Carl and I so well . I'm grateful that Eirik was able to get to know Mark when we came out for the visit in '02. We got some good pictures of us all at the football game. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help besides keeping Mark in my thoughts and prayers.

We love you.

Warmly, Kimberly, Eirik & baby Katherine

Dear Jennifer, Paul, Carol, Mindi, Jill, and Jay,

Words cannot express how sad I am that Mark is gone. I know that his spirit lives on in his beautiful children and in the lives of the many people he touched throughout his life. Knowing that Mark has helped so many people with organ donation is a testament to the wonderful man that he is. I am so sorry that I could not be there during this very difficult time, but know that I am thinking of you all, and I hope that you know how much your family is loved.

Love,

Sheila and Mathew

Dear Paul, Carol, Jill, Mindi, and Jay

Dana and I were deeply saddened at the loss of Mark. I am especially saddened by the fact that time and distance hadn't allowed us to visit in so many years. I'm touched by the memories I've read in the guest book of a cousin who grew up into a gentleman and role model for many. I remember the happy kid during our visits so long ago.

A special note to Jennifer and the children. I hope someday we'll be able to meet so I can see the legacy left by Mark. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Love and Prayers, Pat and Dana

Jennifer and family, I wanted to let you know that Mark was a true inspiration to all of his co-workers, customers and especially me. His committment, loyalty and love of his work showed each and every day. His smile and helping hand was a refreshing sight to see on a daily basis. He seemed to be at his best the more challenging the task. Men like Mark don't come along very often, I feel blessed to have had a chance to work with him.

Paul and Carol,

I am so very sorry for your unthinkable loss. While I knew Mark only through you, I know he was an exemplary young man, having learned from the two of you. Because of that and the strong family values that he surely instilled in his children, he is not really gone. You and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.
