Just came across this searching for something from back in the day at Bullard, and I'm shocked and so sad to learn of this loss. Mark was a force of nature in all the good ways - such a solid, positive, creative and hilariously fun person to cross paths with and have hung out with on occasion growing up in Fresno. Always a smile from ear to ear, and always made you feel welcome and part of the gang even if you were a bit of a straggler like me. Rest in peace kind friend, sending much love and prayers to you and all your family and many friends.

I have many fond memories hanging out with Mark while growing up in Fresno. From jumping our bikes in the fig orchards and skateboarding off of wooden ramps...and later attending Tenaya and Bullard. RIP Mark! Prayers to the entire Fimbres family.

We offer our condolences to the Fimbres family. As a Sigma Chi, and one of those at the intersection of Central, Bullard and SJM, Fimbo always had a joke or funny story. His personality continues.

Dear Mark - So many lasting memories of our friendship together. High school, Super Bowls and championship fights. Turkey Bowls, flag-football leagues, pick-up basketball games...you were always there, ready to play! I can't remember a time when when you didn't return a huddle exclaiming, I'm wide open, they can't cover me! I'll never forget your words when friends asked you to attend our 10-year high school reunion: I just want to remember it the way it was. I'll never forget you, my lionhearted friend, and the way it once was. When we last saw each other you greeted me with a big hug before saying a word. I will carry that memory, and all others of you forever. God bless you, your family and friends. Love you, brother. Jim O'Brien

I'm still in shock over losing you and have wonderful memories of us as kids at St Anthony's School then later in public school and then you calling me out on Facebook if I would ever forget about you. Rest In Peace my friend. ❤
