Mary Xavier George passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the age of 94. She was born in Selma, California on June 23, 1914 to Joseph and Mary Xavier. She married Antonio George and they lived in Selma where they farmed. They had a daughter, Marie Raven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio George; and her brother, Joseph B. Xavier.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Raven; her grandsons, Jerry Raven and George Raven and his wife Joaquina; and her great-grandchildren, Phillip, Leopoldo and Sophia Raven.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Selma on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Selma on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
